Omadi Driver App: Drop Fees



Create


To create a new Drop Fee, tap the + icon in the upper-right corner from the My Jobs or Available page. The driver will then be prompted to select a job type. Tap Drop Fee.


The Driver will then see the following cards:

  • Release To

  • Charges

  • Payments

  • Location

  • Violations

  • Vehicle

  • Photos

  • Notes

  • PD Report


Tap on each card to enter data for the new Drop Fee.


Convert from PPI


When a PPI job has been started but needs to be converted to a drop, do the following. 


  • While in the job you want to convert, tap the ellipses from the upper right corner.

  • Select “Change to Drop Fee




The job will change to PPI Drop and three new “cards” will appear at the top of the other cards on the screen. 

  1. “Release To” will need to be filled out

  2. “Charges” should be pulled from the server and filled out automatically. 

  3. “Payments” will also need to be filled out.




Release To

By tapping on the “Release To” card you can add the following information

  • Name

  • Drivers License

  • Phone

  • Signature

  • Email


If the person paying for the release is different from the person you are releasing to, you also have the ability to add “Payer Info”. If the person you release the vehicle to is the same person that is paying for the release then select the “Same as above” box that is next to the “Payer Info” label. When finished entering the required information, tap “Save”.


Note: Any fields that are red are required. In the example to the right the “Name” and “Driver’s License” fields required. 




Charges

As soon as other required fields are complete, the preset charges from the server will be retrieved and displayed in the charges card. By default “on property” drop fees will be selected. If you need to change it to “off property” drop fees, tap on the Charges Card and change it from the “Drop Type” selector. Your charges will be updated and you can then save them. 


Charge Adjustments are available if you have permissions to add them.


Payments

After Charges are added, payments can be completed by tapping on the Payments Card and filling out the payments type and amount. If you’d like to add a note to the payment you can do so in the “Details” field. If needed you can add multiple payments of different types. You can also add an email address for the invoice to be sent to.
