Drivers Not Showing on Map
A driver's GPS location is based on the user’s mobile device GPS signal and is therefore reliant on how often the mobile device updates its GPS location.
If a driver's location does not appear on the Dispatch Dashboard map:
- Check the settings on the user’s device to make sure that Location Settings are on.
- For iOS, location permissions should be set to Always (not While Using the App).
If the company has integrated TomTom units in the trucks, the map will reflect location based on readings from those TomTom units.
