Accepting and Completing a Job

Job information can be entered at any time (before the job is marked Complete).

Inventory Tab: Validate VIN

In the Vehicle Details region of the Inventory tab, there is a field to validate the last 6 digits of a vehicle's VIN.  This is to ensure that the correct vehicle is towed.  Type the last 6 digits into the field, and the VIN will automatically validate.

How to Save Changes

Any time new information is entered into a ticket via the app, a blue save button will appear in the bottom right corner of the screen. This button will stay visible until it is tapped and the job is saved and synced to the server. After your changes are saved, dispatchers will be able to see your updated information. If you exit the job when there is unsaved information, the job will be automatically saved.

Job Complete

Once a job’s status has been completed, on the My Jobs screen you will notice that the card is minimized and fades to the background. Once a job is complete, it can no longer be edited in the app. (Completed jobs will remain on this screen for three days.)
